Sustainability at the forefront

Ljubljana is among the most sustainable and regenerative cities in Europe. At ICCA CEC 2026, you will help co-create an event that leaves a positive impact on the local community, environment and society.

Towards a better planet

At ICCA CEC 2026, we will use the Planet Positive Event tool, which will help us to organise the event in line with the ESRS Standards and measure the conference’s carbon footprint. The result of the entire process is the sustainability rating, precise calculation of the carbon footprint and the final report with recommendations for improvements. One of the tool’s features is the regenerative matrix covering all 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations.

We invite you to consider how you can personally contribute to reducing the carbon footprint. This also means opting for sustainable modes of transport when arriving to Ljubljana.
